Position Details
Warehouse Associate 2 – 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, OT as needed) – Mesquite, TX

Pay: $18 an hour based on experience.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate 2 performs tasks related to shipping, receiving, and material handling, including receiving shipments, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, staging orders, and shipping products. The role primarily uses powered industrial trucks such as Cherry Picker, Sit‑Down Forklift, Reach Truck, and EPJ, and employs RF scanners to receive, pick, and ship orders daily.

Core Functions

Prepare product for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping.

Operate powered equipment to move products safely and efficiently (once certified).

Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report issues or malfunctions.

Assemble component parts into kits; package and label kits; enter kit data into WMS.

Pick and pack bulk and drop‑ship inventory for shipment; stage inventory; load trailers.

Unload trailers; receive product, verifying accuracy against PO and packing slip in WMS.

Scan palletized product wraps and labels per customer requirements; load pallets onto trailers.

Receive returned product; verify warranty status; update WMS; prepare product for disposal or return to stock.

Train other employees; maintain a clean and safe workspace; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma required.

6‑12 months of related experience or training required.

2‑5 years of related experience or training preferred.

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Driver’s license preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Skilled in use of a pallet jack and tape gun.

Basic computer skills.

Proficient in using a computer with emphasis on WMS and MS Office.

Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Ability to handle problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and manuals.

Ability to count and perform basic math.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
