Material Handler
Pay: $20.01 per hour, plus $0.75 per hour night shift differential; paid weekly.
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 2-2-3 schedule.
Key Job Requirements
Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
Accurately control inventory of all raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping.
Accurately account for all material movements, including in‑plant product holds.
Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned.
Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety issues, and diagram interpretations for proper packaging.
Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process.
Other duties as necessary.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Basic math and computer skills.
Forklift certification and ability to operate a forklift safely.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ada – Essential Functions
Work 12‑hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods.
Climb and navigate.
Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 65 lbs; all lifts over 65 lbs require a two‑person lift or mechanical assistance.
Possess adequate problem‑solving skills and ability to establish cause and effect relationships in a manufacturing environment.
