Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Summary: Facility is looking for a Pediatric locum to work 24hr call 7 days per month

Average Callback Hours: 4.7 hours

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Need second or third week of Feb

Plus ongoing coverage in 2026

Setting: Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Deliver/Pediatrics Unit/Level II nursery

Duties Required: Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, circumcisions

Days per month:7 days per month

Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/ intubations/UVC , lumbar punctures

EMR:Meditech

Support Staff: Nursing team. Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, ob/gyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians to consult with, NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians.

Reason for Coverage: Current locum was not a good fit.

Requirement description :

• Board Certified/Board Eligible - Highly Preferred
• ND License or IMLC - Required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS,NRP - Required
• Clean Malpractice - Required
• Availability at time of name clear - Required
• A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
