Muskegon, MI is in need of sporatic 2026 coverage in an Inpatient Psychiatric Department!

Hours: M-F 8a-5p for dates listed below

• 2/12, 2/13, 2/16-2/20, 2/23-3/1.
• Sporadic ongoing coverage

Call is 5p-8a, unrestricted call if able

Required Treatment Disorders: Anxiety Disorder, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders

Required to have familiarity with: Involuntary Commitments, Seclusion therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Group Therapy & Restraint Application

• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12
• Total Number of Beds: 27
• Number of Psychiatrist in the Group: 5
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers Support: 6
• Number of Psychologists: 0
• Locum Tenen Psychiatrist Required to Supervise Other Healthcare Providers: Yes, Psychiatric NP
• Describe Referral/Transfer Protocol: Referrals primarily coming from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs
• Safety/Security Measures in Place: Staff duress system, security on site 24/7
• No pediatric patients
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 3 months but need ASAP

• Board Certified (Psychiatry) - REQUIRED
• Active MI License - REQUIRED
• BLS - REQUIRED
