
Coordinator, Gas Control Field Work

Essential Functions
Provide day‑to‑day continuity and support for Control Room and Field Operations, contributing to a reliable and continuous supply of natural gas to customers while ensuring safety and well‑being by coordinating all personnel in the control room for planned field work.
Administer operating procedures to ensure safety, reliability, cost and efficiency of gas service on Eversource Distribution systems, and provide subject‑matter expertise for safe execution of all applicable procedures.
Lead and oversee the interface between real‑time system operation (SCADA) and planned maintenance and construction work on the gas systems within the company.
Approve all planned Pipeline and Field work activities, including LNG activity that could impact system operations.
Review and approve all planned field work that impacts system operations.
Work with Planning and Scheduling Department to prioritize work supporting daily work plans.
Ensure that the process to create and approve applicable operating procedures is followed.
Be accountable for field clearances and approval decisions and coordinate with real‑time system operation during abnormal conditions.
Coordinate operating‑procedure problem resolution with various groups involved in the procedures.
Provide training and guidance on the operating‑procedure process to personnel using the applications.
Support and drive continuous improvement of the operating‑procedure process within Eversource.
Provide daily support to Gas Controllers as operating‑procedure jobs are executed by Field personnel.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge / Skill
Technical knowledge in natural gas transmission, distribution system configuration and gas regulator station/SCADA system operations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to read mapping systems.
Understanding of gas pressure and flow relationships, remote telemetering and control, applicable Federal and State codes, LNG operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, ArcGIS.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business‑related discipline, or a related equivalent experience.
Experience
Five (5) or more years of experience in operating and/or maintenance field.
Experience with SCADA or GIS is strongly preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
None.
Working Conditions
This position is categorized as safety‑sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre‑assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non‑safety‑sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing.
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work is performed primarily in an office setting.

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: $109,750.00‑$121,940.00.
