Join our dedicated healthcare team in Celina, Ohio! We are seeking a locum physician in Hematology Oncology to provide coverage at an Outpatient Cancer Center from September 1, 2026, to January 18, 2027. This engagement is for maternity leave coverage and focuses on providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
Our facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and utilizes the EPIC documentation system. The practice consists of a physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP), with an average of 13 outpatient visits and 2 hospital patients per day.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care.
- Conduct patient evaluations and order lab tests and imaging.
- Interpret laboratory results and prescribe treatments.
- Participate in tumor board discussions.
- Administer chemotherapy with the assistance of a Nurse Oncologist.
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology or Truly Board Eligible.
- Active Ohio medical license (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Clean background check.
- Availability confirmation for the specified dates (Mon Wed, 8 AM 5 PM).
- Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days prior to presentation.
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology (required).
- Active Ohio medical license (preferred).
- BLS certification (required).
