Flipspaces Design Labs, San Francisco, CA, United States
Benefits:
Bonus based on performance
Company parties
Competitive salary
Paid time off
Training & development
Flipspaces is a global design-tech company that delivers VR-powered commercial interior design and full turnkey fit-outs for offices, retail, hospitality, co‑working spaces, and multifamily amenity spaces.
We are now building our Silicon Valley / Bay Area sales engine from the ground up, and we need a hunter who can own the market. This role is not for a relationship manager. It is for a closer — someone who thrives on cold opens, warm networks, new doors, and signed contracts. You will be the first sales hire in the Bay Area and will shape the territory. Must be good at both tele sales & field sales.
What You Will Own
Revenue Generation
Prospect, pitch, and close new business across builders, brokers, restaurants, co‑working operators, hospitality, and retail chains
Build and own a Bay Area pipeline across all target segments
Drive outreach via LinkedIn, in‑person events, cold walk‑ins, referral networks, and community channels
Convert broker referrals into active projects — every lease signed is a fit‑out opportunity
Builder & Developer Relationships
Build deep relationships with developers, builders, and GCs across the Bay Area
Get on the preferred vendor list of at least 3 major developers (Jay Paul, South Bay Dev, Prometheus)
Attend NAIOP SV, BOMA, ULI events
Market Coverage & Events
Identify new restaurant openings, co‑working expansions, hotel renovations, and office fit‑outs before they go to market
Attend and network at NAIOP SV Brokers Panel, TiE SV events, Apartment Association of SV, California Restaurant Association events
Walk key commercial corridors weekly — El Camino Real, University Ave (PA), Castro St (MV), Santana Row, Downtown SJ
Community Networking — Indian Diaspora
Leverage the Indian business community on El Camino Real (Sunnyvale), Pioneer Blvd, and Little India strip as a warm BD channel
Build relationships with Indian restaurant groups, Indian grocery chains, and Indian‑owned commercial properties
Represent Flipspaces at TiE SV mixers, ICAN events, and India‑focused business forums in the Bay Area
THE PROFILE — NON-NEGOTIABLE
Field sales hunter — you have closed deals face‑to‑face, not just via email chains
Builder & broker community insider — you know GCs, developers, tenant reps, or property managers personally in the Bay Area
Event‑native networker — you attend CRE events, chambers, mixers, and trade shows proactively, not because you’re told to
Closer, not just a pitcher — you follow through, handle objections, and bring contracts to the finish line
Self‑directed and fearless — you don’t need hand‑holding; you create your own pipeline
Bay Area‑based or ready to relocate immediately to San Jose / Palo Alto / Sunnyvale
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND Required
3–8 years of B2B field sales in commercial real estate, interior design, construction, fit‑out, FF&E, or adjacent industries
Demonstrated track record of closing deals with builders, developers, brokers, or restaurant/hospitality groups
Active network of CRE contacts in the Bay Area — builders, brokers, GCs, property managers, or restaurant operators
Experience attending and working CRE industry events (NAIOP, BOMA, ULI, restaurant trade shows, or similar)
Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools (Salesforce / HubSpot), and cold outreach strategies
Preferred
Prior experience selling interior design, fit‑out, furniture (FF&E), or construction project management services
Connections in the Indian business community in the Bay Area (TiE SV, El Camino Real restaurant owners, Sunnyvale/Fremont Indian diaspora)
Knowledge of co‑working operators (Industrious, WeWork, Convene) or multifamily owner relationships (Prometheus, Essex, AvalonBay)
Prior sourcing from the following companies: CBRE, JLL, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, Avison Young, Marcus & Millichap
