Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations and upkeep of commercial facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong multi‑trade maintenance experience who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work.

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across building systems, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained. This role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure

Troubleshoot and repair issues across multiple trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance

Conduct routine inspections of facilities, assets, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance

Execute minor electrical repairs (fixtures, switches, outlets, lighting components) in accordance with safety regulations

Complete plumbing repairs, including leak fixes, fixture replacements, and drain maintenance

Perform carpentry and painting work, including drywall repair and finishing to maintain a professional facility appearance

Maintain cleanliness of facilities through light groundskeeping and housekeeping duties

Accurately document work orders, time tracking, and maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Source and manage materials and supplies needed to complete assigned tasks

Participate in safety training programs and adhere to all workplace safety standards and compliance requirements

Build positive working relationships through professional, customer‑facing interactions

Required Skills/Education

High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a technical/trade school program (or equivalent experience)

2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or mechanical repair

Hands‑on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms (Corrigo experience is a plus)

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety procedures, and work orders

Proficiency using mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) for work order management

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders

Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting

Exposure to compliance standards and safety regulations
