
Risk Engineer (Dev) - Liquidity Risk

Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with Liquidity Risk, Treasury, and/or Rates stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Design and build data pipelines, analytics layers, and production-ready services to support liquidity risk metrics, reporting, and monitoring.
Develop and maintain Python-based components for data processing, analytics, and automation.
Build and operate solutions on AWS, leveraging cloud-native patterns for reliability, security, and scalability.
Implement and optimize data models and workflows in Snowflake, including performance tuning and cost-aware design.
(Plus) Build end-to-end full-stack systems, including APIs/services, data layers, and BI/reporting experiences.
(Plus) Develop BI dashboards and reporting artifacts; ensure data quality, reconciliation, and clear lineage for business consumption.
Drive delivery independently: manage workstreams, communicate progress, and iterate quickly with business users.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or quantitative/analytics engineering roles.
Liquidity risk domain knowledge (or closely related experience in Treasury, rates risk, or rates trading).
Working knowledge of AWS (core services and cloud architecture fundamentals).
Hands‑on Snowflake experience (data modeling, SQL, optimization, and operational best practices).
Proven ability to operate as a self‑starter and work independently with direct business user engagement.
