Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Body Shop Manager (Truck) located in Lynchburg, VA. The Body Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of the truck body shop, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency. Responsibilities include leading the team, coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction, monitoring inventory, and adhering to quality and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with the aftersales and service teams to optimize processes and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in Body Shops and Workshops, with hands-on experience in managing operations effectively

Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction, with a track record of delivering high-quality service to clientele

Proficiency in Aftersales processes and procedures, ensuring efficient follow-up and service delivery

Clear and professional Communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders

Experience in managing teams and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership and team development skills

Financial and operational management experience

Knowledge of estimating systems

Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license

Familiarity with the commercial truck and bus industry is a significant advantage

High school diploma or equivalent; Advanced certifications or relevant managerial experience preferred
