Overview
We’re hiring a part‑time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We’ll provide training; you just bring a positive attitude and a desire to learn!
The primary focus of this position is to provide remarkable customer service by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere and engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
Responsibilities
Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for guests.
Prepare and serve salads.
Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable).
Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing.
Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products for merchandising and sale.
Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Handle additional duties such as dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders, baking/frying products.

Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher’s age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older.
