Member Services Associate (Front Desk / Customer Service)

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Member Services Associate to join our front desk team. This role focuses on customer service, member support, and daily facility operations in a fast-paced, community-centered environment.
As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive experience for members by providing assistance, answering questions, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet members and guests, providing excellent customer service at all times
Assist with membership sign‑ups, account updates, and program registrations
Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information
Conduct facility tours for prospective members
Handle cash transactions and balance register/drawer
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
Monitor building activity and follow all safety and emergency procedures
Support opening and closing duties as scheduled
Work collaboratively with staff and assist with onboarding new team members
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous customer service, front desk, or retail experience is a plus
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Skills
Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems or membership software
Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Interest in health, fitness, or community programs
