Our confidential client is seeking an Epicor ERP Business Analyst to join a growing IT organization focused on optimizing, modernizing, and expanding the use of Epicor across the enterprise. This is a hands-on, business-facing role where you will bridge the gap between operations and technology, helping users get the most out of Epicor while driving meaningful system improvements.
A major focus of this role will be supporting the organization’s continued transition to the Epicor Kinetic Web UI, including building enhancements in Application Studio and enabling a smoother, more intuitive user experience across the business.
This role can be remote, with periodic onsite presence, for candidates in Houston, TX or northern New Jersey.
What You’ll Be Doing
Epicor Operational Support
Support daily Epicor ERP use across manufacturing and business operations
Partner with users across production, inventory, purchasing, supply chain, MES, and warehouse functions
Troubleshoot system issues and improve user adoption of ERP workflows
Work closely with operational leaders to identify process inefficiencies and system improvements
Kinetic Web UI & Application Studio
Support rollout and adoption of the Epicor Kinetic Web UI
Guide users through transition from legacy screens to Kinetic interface
Build and maintain Application Studio customizations to improve usability and workflows
Identify opportunities to modernize and streamline processes using Kinetic capabilities
Reporting & Data Enablement
Build and maintain BAQs, dashboards, and data views to support operational decision-making
Develop SSRS reports for operational and finance stakeholders
Improve visibility into key performance and operational metrics across departments
Process Improvement & ERP Enhancements
Translate business requirements into effective Epicor solutions
Document workflows, configurations, and system processes
Identify and support opportunities to improve efficiency through ERP functionality
Participate in testing, UAT, and ERP enhancement initiatives
Integration & Technical Support
Leverage Epicor REST APIs to support integrations and data access needs
Assist with troubleshooting data and system integration issues
Collaborate with technical teams on more complex development and integration work
What You Bring
3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 / Kinetic preferred)
Strong background supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Deep understanding of core operational processes:
Production
Inventory management
Supply chain
Shop floor / MES operations
Experience building BAQs, dashboards, and operational reporting solutions
Strong SSRS reporting experience
Experience with Epicor Application Studio customizations
Familiarity with Epicor REST APIs
Ability to translate operational needs into system solutions and reporting outputs
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
Basic SQL knowledge
Exposure to Epicor integrations or middleware environments
Experience with ERP modernization or UI transformation initiatives
Familiarity with AI tools to support analysis, reporting, or productivity
Strong interest in improving user experience and system adoption
