Part-Time Receptionist, Marketing – LSC-System Office
Location: LSC-System Office, 5000 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381. Regular/Part-Time: Part-Time. Job ID: 44507.
Purpose and Scope
The PT Receptionist acts as the initial contact person and representative of the assigned department, performing standard administrative support duties while ensuring a customer‑friendly environment and providing excellent customer service at all times.
Essential Job Functions
Answers incoming phone calls and emails, responding to basic questions or forwarding calls and issues to appropriate parties.
Greets visitors courteously, answering questions within scope or directing higher‑level issues to the appropriate area.
Performs basic administrative support functions: scheduling conference rooms, logging information, making copies, sorting and distributing mail, preparing correspondence, answering routine questions, providing directions, and taking and delivering messages.
Maintains neat and organized work area at all times.
May contact outside emergency organizations if an emergency is indicated.
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer‑service skills.
Willingness to learn new hardware and software.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
Physical Abilities
The work is sedentary; may involve walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required.
Work Schedule and Conditions
Computer workstation with LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and office equipment.
Interface with internal and external contacts as needed.
Work performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Salary
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.60
