Position: Gynecologic OncologistLocation: Tyler, Texas (92 miles from Dallas)Employment Type: Permanent - Full TimePosition Overview:
- Faculty appointment with active involvement in resident education
- Practice within an academic medical environment
- Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Typical Schedule:
- 2-3 days outpatient clinic
- 2-3 days OR
- Opportunity to oversee chemotherapy clinic
- Collaborative call structure shared among specialties (flexible with physician input)
- Access to da Vinci robotic surgical system
- Research collaboration opportunities through GOG and MD Anderson clinical trials
- Multiple APPs dedicated to oncology services
- Collaboration with OB/GYN faculty, OB/GYN hospitalists, medical oncologists, and urogynecologists
- Outreach and collaboration with rural clinics throughout East Texas
