Position Summary
The Part‑time Spanish Language Instructor will deliver engaging, face‑to‑face introductory Spanish lessons (e.g., SPA 111, SPA 112) focusing on speaking, reading, writing, listening, and cultural nuances for 16 weeks as part of the Stokes Early College program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses and manage class schedules.
Maintain all required College records, including attendance and grade reports.
Recommend supplies, equipment, and repairs to the Department Chair.
Construct, administer, and grade examinations.
Adhere to all College policies.
Qualifications
Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate hours in Spanish from an accredited institution.
Physical Demands
Typical duties include regular use of computers, telephone, and other electronic equipment, communication with students and staff, moving equipment or materials up to 25 pounds, and occasional reaching or kneeling. Reasonable accommodations are available.
