Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Assistant Manager located in St. Augustine, FL. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff performance, and driving sales targets through exceptional customer service strategies. Other responsibilities include inventory management, executing promotional campaigns, maintaining high standards of store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role will also involve mentoring and developing team members to foster continuous growth and leadership.
Qualifications
Leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising, training, and mentoring employees
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle customer concerns, provide personalized assistance, and ensure a positive shopping experience
Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, sales strategies, merchandising, and promotional execution
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and engaging with customers
Problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities to address challenges and maintain operational efficiency
Proficiency in using basic technology and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems
Experience in the retail or sports/apparel industry is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in business, management, or related field is preferred
