Full Stack Software Developer
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to provide software maintenance and engineering support under the Foundation Sustainment Services contract.
Responsibilities
Corrective, Adaptive, Preventive, and Perfective maintenance of maritime systems software.
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and maintenance.
Participate in peer reviews and unit testing; adapt to different responsibilities as needed.
Analyze software requirements and develop products in a maintenance setting.
Identify software and hardware dependencies and capacities.
Create and maintain documentation.
Core Qualifications
BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience; Or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; Or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience in software development or integration projects in a service‑oriented or cloud (SOA, Web Services) environment.
Proficiency in AWS/Cloud technologies and cloud‑based architectures.
Knowledge of architectural, software development, and software sustainment practices.
Familiarity with Vue, ColdFusion, Java, JavaScript, .NET (VB, C#), Python, and Oracle/PostgreSQL spatial database integration.
Ability to solve complex problems and collaborate with teams using rapid prototyping, agile development, or similar methodologies.
Experience with data ingestion and exploitation application development.
Provide status updates on development tasks to meet program/project goals; familiarity with Git/GitLab or other source‑code control tools.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.).
Familiarity with team collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, RocketChat.
Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post‑hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with deployment platforms such as GitLab CI/CD or other proprietary deployment platforms.
