Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool Technician located in Merrillville, IN and Portage, IN. The Tool Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing tools and equipment to support operations. Responsibilities include inspecting tools for wear and damage, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining tooling inventory and controls.
Qualifications

Proficient knowledge in pattern tool repair, maintenance, and construction/design
Experience working in pattern shops, fine cabinetry, woodworking, tool and die making, or related field
Experience in precision metrology and inspection
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field is a plus
