
SR. EDI Analyst

What You'll Do:
Lead the end-to-end EDI onboarding process, including production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI-related issues.
Collaborate with EDI vendor teams to validate, test, implement, and maintain EDI transactions.
Support end-to-end testing of EDI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with backend applications.
Ensure adherence to architectural standards and develop best practices in all EDI-related work.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with trading partners to ensure smooth EDI operations.
Act as the primary liaison between Skechers and its managed services provider, OpenText.
Manage the relationship with OpenText and oversee the onboarding of new customers.
Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, compliance, and distribution) to define EDI implementation plans for new and existing transaction sets.
Collaborate with IT development teams to enhance system and software architecture supporting EDI solutions.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Skechers' automation platforms to improve processing efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency within the current EDI structure.
Troubleshoot and resolve gaps in data and business communication related to EDI processes.
Test EDI transactions with both new and existing trading partners, ensuring successful acceptance testing.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of experience delivering enterprise-level EDI solutions, ideally within the retail or manufacturing sectors.
Expertise in B2B EDI translators such as IBM Sterling Integrator, Gentran, Seeburger, TrustedLink, or similar EDI tools.
Experience working with flat-files, XML, and CSV formats for data translation.
Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, particularly with order-to-cash EDI transaction types.
Experience in EDI mapping to and from ERP systems.
In-depth understanding of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transaction sets.
Extensive experience with EDI translators (TLE and BizLink preferred) and integration processes.
Proven ability to coordinate testing and deployment of EDI relationships with trading partners.
Familiarity with Value Added Networks (VANs) and EDI mailboxes.
Demonstrated experience in customer support, including problem analysis, issue tracking, escalation, and resolution.
Expertise in EDI, EDIFACT, XML standards (VICS, EDIFACT), and communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of network and internet technologies: TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, AS2, etc.
Basic understanding of relational databases and their role in EDI systems.
Familiarity with industry-specific processes and terminology in Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.
Experience with UNIX/Linux or Windows environments is a plus.
OpenText EDI platform experience is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
Salary for this role $105,000 - $130,000
