Desktop Support Technician

Role Overview
The Desktop Support Technician provides hands‑on, desk‑side technical support for end users in both office and plant floor environments. This role is responsible for deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows workstations and related hardware, software, and peripherals to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform PC deployments and imaging for new and existing users, including hardware setup, configuration, and user readiness

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations, applications, peripherals, handheld devices, printers, and network connectivity (TCP/IP)

Provide desk‑side support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems in a networked office environment as well as a manufacturing/plant floor setting

Diagnose hardware and software issues and escape appropriately when necessary

Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and device configurations

Deliver professional, customer‑focused support with a strong emphasis on responsiveness and communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience with PC deployment and imaging (enterprise environments required)

Strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills across Windows workstation operating systems, business applications, peripherals and printers, handheld or mobile devices, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP)

Ability to support users on‑site, including desk‑side and plant floor support

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, end‑user‑focused environment

Nice to Have

Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for device provisioning and management

Prior experience supporting users in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
