Overview
Finance Systems Analyst / JD Edwards Functional Lead (Confidential). We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst / Functional Lead to support and enhance our JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne finance environment within a global manufacturing organization.
This role is highly hands-on and focused on ensuring the stability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of finance systems that support accounting operations, reporting, and global business processes.
You will act as a key bridge between Finance, Accounting, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot system issues, support testing cycles, and implement enhancements that improve financial data integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day functional support for JD Edwards (JDE) finance modules (GL, AP, AR, and related processes)
Troubleshoot and resolve finance system and transaction issues impacting accounting operations
Execute and support system testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
Assist in month-end close support, including GL reconciliation and issue resolution
Partner with Finance and IT to gather requirements and translate them into system changes
Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, and implementation activities
Maintain system documentation, workflows, and training materials
Support audit requests (internal and external) and ensure data accuracy/compliance
Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent ERP functionality across regions
Work within a broader finance systems ecosystem including tools such as BlackLine, Concur, and HFM
Ideal Background
3–5+ years in ERP / Finance Systems / Business Systems Analyst roles
Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (preferred) or similar ERP systems
Background in finance or accounting support environments (GL-focused is key)
Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site organizations strongly preferred
Exposure to ERP testing, troubleshooting, and functional support
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Comfortable working in a support + execution-heavy environment (not purely strategic ownership)
