Job Summary
The IT Manager will serve as our in‑house IT resource. This role will work with all departments on outstanding IT issues and work directly with our Managed Service Provider to bring resolution. This position is responsible for all new hire set‑up, management of in‑house hardware, vendor relationships, and will work directly with current MSP on system upgrades.

Essential Functions
Manage operating systems and vendor relationships for Coker Tire’s ERP system (Epicor P21), phone system (Zultys) and reporting software (WebQuery)
Serve as the subject matter expert for the Coker Tire’s ERP system. Candidate will learn all aspects of Epicor P21 operating system and work with all departments on system set‑up and operating procedures
Provide tier 1–2 end‑user support for on‑site hardware
Track and manage IT support tickets and user issues ensuring timely resolution
Maintain and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices
Work with MSP on endpoint protection, MFA, backups, and disaster recovery coordination
Ensure compliance with applicable data security standards (PCI, etc., if relevant)
Conduct periodic risk assessments and user security awareness efforts
Develop and maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and SOPs
Ability to run continuous improvement projects related to operating systems. Candidate should be able to develop a complete project outline, manage resources and vendors to push each project to completion and ensure project goals are achieved and sustained
Work as a liaison between Coker management and current Managed Service Provider. IT Manager is the point of contact for all IT related issues and will work with MSP and Coker management to establish best practices
Work with MSP on workstation set‑up and the on‑boarding process (as it is related to IT) for all new associates
Work with Coker Tire’s approved network of vendors to replace aging or non‑operational on‑site hardware including computers, printers, desk phones, etc.
Serve as point of contact for Coker Tire’s IT vendors and work with each vendor on service and pricing issues. (EPB, Signal Voice and Data, AT&T, etc.)
Provide off‑hours support as needed
Perform all tasks assigned by management

The Successful Candidate’s Qualifications Will Include
Bachelor’s degree in IT studies.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training
Strong knowledge base of operating systems
Detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking, self‑directed, with ability to prioritize tasks
Experience managing IT systems in small to medium size organizations
Working Conditions
The IT Manager position will be based in Chattanooga, TN, reporting directly to the VP of Operations
The individual in this position will spend several hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. He/she may also have to do some light to moderate lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
Unless other arrangements are made with supervisor, the individual in this position works a full‑time schedule week during our open business hours. Position requires candidate to be available after hours and weekends.
Up to 10% travel is expected for this position.
