Description
AWS is looking for an exceptional Data Center Security Manager with a strong track record of supporting security programs within cleared facilities, demonstrable program/project management experience, comprehensive program security knowledge, and a deep understanding of government security programs, processes, and requirements.
As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) at an accredited AWS site, you will own the execution of multiple security disciplines in support of fast‑moving classified operations and manage a wide array of projects designed to protect personnel, National Security Information, and critical infrastructure from insider and external threats. You will also be responsible for managing onsite security forces. You must obsess over internal and external customers, successfully deliver support and services in an environment where priorities shift extremely fast, and be able to operate independently, manage security projects, continuously triage and prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly, think big and outside the box, and deliver exceptional products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects, driving day‑to‑day process improvement activities, and managing vendors.
Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures and participating in recurring site audits and reviews and testing new security technologies.
Must demonstrate resilient leadership skills, flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, exceptional knowledge of security practices, and strong written and verbal communication.

Basic Qualifications
Experience acting as a Program Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager with duties including interpreting and implementing requirements within the personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines and overseeing security operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
