Job Description
Manages the daily operations of the security department.
Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations.
Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs.
Monitors and follows up on complaints and investigations.
Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and policies/procedures.
Prepares to exhibit oversight of emergency management plans.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to speak, read and write in the English language [Required]
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Ability to communicate and present effectively in both written and oral forms internally and externally [Required]
Ability to motivate co-workers to function effectively as a team in a challenging environment [Required]
Ability to assess risk and follow a proactive approach [Required]
Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time frames [Required]
Ability to work cooperatively with health system staff [Required]
Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to change in workload and work schedule [Required]
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form [Required]
Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills [Required]
Intermediate computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel [Required]
