
Sacramento Food Bank Delivery Volunteer – Wed Mornings

Mercy Housing Sacramento serves families, seniors, veterans, and individuals across Sacramento County, many of whom are currently experiencing food insecurity. We are seeking volunteers or partner organizations, churches, or community groups willing to helpwithour weekly food bank distribution processand support our residents in a meaningful, hands‑on way.
Volunteer Responsibilities
1 to 4 Wednesdays per month from the Sacramento Food Bank, every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
Loading 10-20 small to medium-sized boxes onto a moving truck
Unloading food boxes to 3–4 Mercy Housing properties within Sacramento County
Working alongside and with support from Mercy Housing team members
Your support would directly impact over900 residentsby helping ensure consistent access to nutritious food throughout our communities.
