CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline is seeking Hospitalist and Nocturnist physicians to provide inpatient coverage at its acute care facility. This opportunity offers a well-supported team structure, balanced patient volumes, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Facility Coverage Model

• Day Shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM):
  • 11 Physicians
  • 2 NPPAs
• Swing Shift (10:00 AM 10:00 PM):
  • 1 NPPA
• Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM):
  • 1 Physician
  • 2 NPPAs

• Coverage Hours: 120 hours
• Shift Types: Hospitalist (Day) and Nocturnist (Night)

Clinical Volume

• Average Patient Volume per Provider:
  • Approximately patients

Education & Training Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in:
  • Family Medicine (FM) or
  • Internal Medicine (IM)

Clinical Experience Requirements

• Providers must demonstrate recent, active clinical experience
• Case logs from the past two (2) years are required for review
• No new graduates

Ideal Candidate

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in FM or IM
• Comfortable managing a full inpatient census independently
• Strong team communication skills
• Recent inpatient hospitalist or nocturnist experience
