Responsibilities
The High School Dance Teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous, inclusive, and culturally responsive dance instruction to students across grade levels and ability ranges. This educator collaborates closely with the lead dance teacher to ensure curricular coherence, instructional alignment, and a consistent student experience across the program. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who balances technical precision with artistic exploration, fosters meaningful student relationships, and brings both cultural fluency and pedagogical skill to the high school dance classroom.
Qualifications
Experience as a dance teacher is preferred
Candidates possessing both Dance and Physical Education experience or licensure will be prioritized
Additional Information
Candidates will have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Visual Arts Endorsement registered in DuPage County. Candidates with experience teaching visual art will be prioritized. Collective Bargaining Agreement linked here. Contains salary schedule along with benefits.
