About the Role
Selador International is looking for a motivated Salesperson to join our growing team. This is a fully face-to-face, people-first role where you will engage directly with the public at events and promotional locations — representing our clients' products and services with confidence, warmth, and enthusiasm. We provide comprehensive product and client training, so you don't need prior sales experience. If you can connect with people, we'll teach you the rest.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients at events and promotional venues, engaging customers face-to-face with energy and professionalism
Communicate the value of products and services clearly, confidently, and persuasively
Build genuine rapport with prospective customers, creating positive, memorable interactions
Drive sales by identifying customer needs and matching them to the right products or services
Achieve individual and team sales targets through consistent, high-quality customer engagement
Support event setup, coordination, and on-the-day execution
Skills Required
Communication
— You can hold a natural conversation, listen well, and explain things clearly to a range of different people.
Relationship Building
— You make people feel at ease quickly and can build trust in a short space of time.
Resilience & Drive
— You stay motivated and positive, even when things don't go your way — rejection doesn't knock your confidence.
Customer Focus
— You genuinely enjoy helping people and put the customer's experience at the centre of everything you do.
Adaptability
— You're comfortable working in fast-paced, busy environments and can think on your feet when things change.
Enthusiasm to Learn
— You take on feedback well, engage with training, and are genuinely motivated to grow your skills.
Backgrounds in customer service, retail, or hospitality are particularly relevant — though any experience where you have worked directly with people in a fast-paced setting is valued. We welcome applications from career changers and school or college leavers.
