Role Description
We are hiring a FOH Multi Unit Service Manager.

Wish You Were Here Group is looking for a service driven leader to join our team and own the guest experience on the floor.

What this role is
You are the heartbeat of the floor.

You set the tone for service, the vibe of the room, and the standard of hospitality across every shift.

You are not stuck in the office; you are present, leading from the front and constantly elevating the experience.

Oversee FOH service execution across multiple high-volume NYC locations.

Obsessed with hospitality details, service flow and guest experience.

Ability to read a room and adjust energy and service style accordingly.

Strong communication and team development skills.

Passion for restaurants culture and creating memorable experiences.

Ensure alignment with WYWHG service standards, brand voice, and hospitality philosophy.

Partner with GMs and senior leadership to implement consistent service SOPs, steps of service, and guest experience protocols.

Lead pre-shift culture, communication, and best-practice development across units.

Training & Development

Conduct ongoing service training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Support onboarding of new FOH leadership and hourly staff.

Identify gaps in skills or systems and build scalable solutions.

Model exceptional hospitality and develop high-performing teams.

Operations & Support

Assist with day-to-day service oversight during peak shifts across multiple venues.

Maintain visibility on the floor, supporting GMs with service flow and guest recovery.

Collaborate closely with culinary leadership, HR, recruiting, and operations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor standards.

Guest Experience

Owning the guest experience from the moment guests walk in to the moment they leave.

Driving a high-energy welcoming and consistent atmosphere across all services.

Maintaining pace flow and overall floor dynamics during service.

Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with a hospitality-first mindset.

Partnering with the General Manager and marketing team on guest experience initiatives.

Lead VIP and high-profile guest service when appropriate.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of FOH leadership experience in high-volume, upscale-casual or full-service restaurants.

Prior multi-unit oversight strongly preferred.

Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate teams.

Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Passion for restaurants culture and creating memorable experiences.

Location
New York

Schedule & Travel

NYC-based role with frequent travel between Little Ruby’s Cafés and Dudley’s locations.

Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends.

Compensation
$85,000 – $100,000 annual salary
