Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Electronics Tech, you will provide critical technical expertise and skilled maintenance, ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of complex electronic systems and equipment.
Every day you will expertly diagnose and repair electronic components, perform preventative maintenance, calibrate instruments, and meticulously document all service activities to uphold the highest standards of performance and safety.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and a meticulous, dedicated demeanor, contributing to uninterrupted operations and extended equipment lifespans.
Install, repair and calibrate nurse call system, fire alarm system, telecommunication system, emergency radio communication system, overhead paging system, infant abduction system, access control system, CATV, CCTV, electronic security system and digital camera surveillance system using appropriate test equipment and tools.
May act as crew leader during new installations.
Monitors and inspects new installations to insure compliance with codes and regulations.
Demonstrates the ability to operate window/based software.
Perform periodic assurance and safety inspections on assigned equipment using automated and manual analyzers and simulators.
Maintains documentation on all work performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Shift: Varied Days
Job Requirements
Associates Of Science in Electronics Technology, vocational graduate or armed forces school equivalent
Five years related experience
Oregon Electrician License
Pay Range
$30.76 - $45.76 /hour
