Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

Take your surgical expertise to the next level with a high-impact locum tenens opportunity in Grand Forks, ND . This role is designed for a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon ready to step into a dynamic environment, delivering life-saving procedures while collaborating with a top-tier clinical team.

Flexible Coverage Dates Available:

• May 25 June 1
• June 25 July 3
• July 24 August 3
• September 25 October 12

Practice Setting:

• Primarily inpatient coverage , with a blend of outpatient responsibilities preferred
• Full operating room support with experienced surgical staff
• Collaborative environment with CT surgery APPs, RN, and LPN support

️ Schedule & Responsibilities:

• 24/7 call coverage during assignment period
• Perform 1 2 surgeries per day (Monday Friday) based on caseload
• Manage inpatient rounding and consults
• Conduct outpatient consults following surgical cases

Key Procedures:

• Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
• Valve repair and replacement
• Pericardial window procedures
• Lung resections
• Vascular surgeries, including endarterectomies

️ What You Bring:

• Board Certification (American Board, AOA, or Canadian equivalent)
• Doctorate in a relevant medical field from an accredited institution
• Proven expertise across a wide range of cardiothoracic procedures
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
