Summary
Safar Staffing is hiring compassionate DSPs and Caregivers to support adults with disabilities, mental health needs, or daily living challenges in residential group home and assisted living settings across Madison, WI 53714
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide medication reminders or administration (if trained)
Prepare meals and assist with feeding
Keep the home clean, safe, and organized
Offer companionship and emotional support
Help with transportation, appointments, and community outings
Follow individualized care plans and document all services provided
Compensation
Entry-Level:
$15.25 – $17.00/hr
Experienced DSP/Caregiver:
$17.00 – $19.25/hr
Additional pay for overnight and weekend shifts
Requirements
Experience in caregiving, group homes, or assisted living —
preferred but not required
for entry-level candidates
DSP, CNA, or related certification —
preferred but not required , as paid training is available for motivated candidates
Must be able to
pass a background check
Reliable transportation
to get to group homes and facilities in Madison and surrounding areas
Strong
communication and teamwork skills
