Job Overview

The Mobile Site Manager will oversee several service sites across a specific region to maintain smooth operations, high levels of customer fulfillment, and compliance with safety standards. Significant travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance:

Establish and oversee safety practices and protocols. Ensure compliance with Vestas’s standards and safety regulations.

Operational Effectiveness:

Promote a culture of safety, structure, and continuous improvement. Communicate change management.

Team Leadership:

Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians. Ensure compliance with safety training and certifications.

Customer Relations:

Interface with customers, resolve inquiries, and collaborate with internal departments.

Financial Management:

Manage site budgets, cost allocations, and operational revenues. Enter accurate data into systems like Salesforce and SAP.

Continuous Improvement:

Develop and deliver improvement plans. Implement LEAN practices at the site.

Technical Assistance:

Provide support to Service Technicians for troubleshooting and resolution.

Travel Requirements:

100% travel position, assigned to sites within designated region plus occasional other regions.

Qualifications

Two to three years of supervisory experience.

Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a passport.

Experience in P&L management.

Experience managing safety programs.

Advanced computer operation and internet-based program navigation skills.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Hearing ability for telephones, radios.

Visual acuity including depth perception.

Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.

Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights 60–100 meters; also supervise work in confined spaces.

Lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs.

Train and certify in required safety programs.

Weight of PPE and gear up to 40 lbs.
