Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Supply Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing and contracting all supply chain activities related to customer projects in an Engineer-to-Order environment. This role ensures materials, equipment, components, and subcontracted services are delivered on time, in full, with quality and within project budget, while managing risks and ensuring alignment with project schedules.

The Project Supply Manager works in close collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Suppliers to support successful project execution from order intake through final delivery. Acts as the single point of contact for supply chain matters within projects.

You can be based at our Tetra Pak office in Winsted, MN or Vernon Hills, IL US.

You will be traveling up to 25 % of your time to our suppliers' sites.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

Be responsible for sourcing new suppliers, drive supplier development activities, together with product and supplier quality engineers.

Drive Strategic Supply Management by maintaining and improving the supplier base in relation to quality, capabilities, production capacity and cost reduction.

Drive negotiation and contracting, considering global & local contracts, own specifications and customer specifications in correct order of importance.

Ensure supplier contract legal compliance with support from legal department.

Translate project requirements (BOMs, specifications, lead times) into detailed material and procurement plans.

Relationship management; ensure good relations with stakeholders, both externally and internally.

Procurement of equipment, parts, components and services for projects.

We believe you have

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration or related numerical field.

Minimum 10 + years of solid experience as a buyer, working with purchasing processes, vendor management.

Proven experience in project supply, project procurement, preferably in an Engineer to Order environment.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and manufacturing operations.

Experience working in cross‑functional, project based environments.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Knowledge of ERP systems e.g., SAP.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Risk Management and pro‑active decision‑making.

You are dynamic and flexible with a pro‑active approach and a high sense of responsibility towards each task.

You have a positive attitude and a high performance orientation on your tasks and responsibilities.

You are a team player, cooperative and open‑minded.

You are open to change and work with deadlines by keeping a high quality of work.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This compensation range is based on a full‑time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work‑related allowances.

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $100,100.00 – $142,800.00.

Short‑term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10 % of ABS.
