Position Overview:

• Specialty: Hospital Medicine (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
• Location: Savannah, Georgia
• Duration: Minimum 6 months with likely extension
• Schedule Options:
Day Rounder: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Swing: 12:00 PM 12:00 AM
Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Call: None
• Orientation: One day of EMR setup/training before first shift
• Facility Details:
711 bed regional hospital
Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart & Vascular Center of Excellence
• Daily Census & Workflow:
Total hospital census 250
Rounding census patients per provider
50 total admissions per day ( 1 admission per rounder)
No consults required
• Patient Population: Mixed commercial, uninsured, VA
• Support Structure: Full specialty support except Dermatology, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology
• ICU Responsibilities: None
• Procedures: Not required; no vent management
• Other Notes: No grand rounds; high acuity environment with strong specialty collaboration

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license
• No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension
• Active or willingness to obtain DEA
• Case logs from the past 2 years (required for credentialing)
• Strong inpatient experience preferred

Compensation:

• Pay: Discussed by phone only
• Weekly paychecks
