Warehouse Worker- Material Handler- Supply Store
The Warehouse Worker/Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, and moving HVAC units and parts within the warehouse. This role involves operating forklifts, completing inventory tasks, and ensuring materials are properly stocked and organized to support daily operations.

Shift: First Shift | MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Responsibilities
Operate material handling equipment to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Receive incoming HVAC units and parts and verify accuracy of shipments.
Load and unload trucks, locate and pick materials into and out of warehouse racks, and manage shipments from various carriers.
Safely operate assigned material handling equipment and ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turns.
Perform cycle counting to determine accurate material quantities.
Receive materials into inventory, move materials between designated locations, and ensure accurate data entry for inventory records.
Resolve discrepancies with material quantities and part numbers.
Ensure stable pallet stacking and safety in material handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in material handling and forklift operation.
Proficiency in shipping and receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, and order picking.
Ability to lift 50+lbs continuously throughout the shift.
Basic computer skills for data entry of shipments.
At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certification in forklift operation (training provided).

The position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting attached to a supply store. While the role is not customer-facing, there will be occasional interactions with customers. Employees are expected to wear appropriate attire for a warehouse environment and follow safety guidelines.
