Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: 5/25/26
• Schedule: 7am-7am, Covering call the entirety of the coverage dates
• Open Dates: 5/25 to 6/1, 6/25 to 7/3, 7/24 to 8/3, 9/25 to 10/12

Clinical Details :

• Provider Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Worksite Setting: Inpatient coverage primarily, with preference for both inpatient and outpatient
• Patient/Caseload Info: 1-2 surgeries M-F depending on need, inpatient call/rounding, outpatient consults in the afternoons after surgery
• Support Staff: CT surgery APP, clinic LPN and RN, full OR staff

Requirements :

• Board Certified: Certified by the Canadian Board and are members of either the Royal College of Physicians or Royal College of Surgeons, or American board certification, or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board certification
• Required Procedures/Skills: CABG, valve repair/replacement, pericardial window, lung resection, vascular surgeries including endarterectomies
• Doctorate within specified field of medical practice from respective accredited school
