This inpatient GI role focuses on consults and emergency procedures within a large hospital setting. Physicians cover structured weekly blocks with built-in call responsibilities.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient hospital setting with adult patients
• Census of 30-50 with 9-16 new consults daily
• Focus on consults, follow-ups, and emergency GI procedures
• Work within a large 500+ bed facility

Schedule

• 10-hour days from 7am to 5pm
• Night call included during coverage blocks
• Approximately 1 week per month plus weekend needs
• Structured weekly coverage model

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
