RN / LPN Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes
Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies
Registered Nurse (RN) – Additional Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop/update care plans
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives
Serve as a resource for complex clinical situations
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Role Focus
Deliver hands‑on nursing care under the direction of an RN or physician
Support care plan implementation and resident monitoring
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
Qualifications
Current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois
Long‑term care experience preferred, but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to providing high‑quality resident‑centered care
