Colorado Springs, CO (with Rural Outreach to Lamar & Trinidad)

UCHealth Medical Group and the Cancer Care team at UCHealth Cancer Care and Hematology Clinic Memorial Central are seeking a Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a well-established, high-performing oncology team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This is a permanent placement opportunity (no locums or locums-to-perm) serving a large regional population across southern Colorado, including dedicated outreach to rural communities.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time position based primarily in Colorado Springs

• Outreach to Lamar and Trinidad, CO approximately 6 days per month (2 3 hours travel required)

• Established team of 12 physicians and 8 APPs

• Robust multidisciplinary support including nurse navigators and social workers

• Outpatient-focused hematology and oncology care

• Collaborative, physician-led medical group

• EPIC EMR (system-wide)

• Flexible 4-day work week model

• Shared, limited call responsibilities

• Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and academic initiatives

Requirements:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology & Medical Oncology

• Active Colorado Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• DEA License (required prior to start; no exemptions)

• BLS (per facility standards)

• Must confirm willingness to provide rural outreach ( 6 days/month)

• Must disclose visa status (visa sponsorship not supported)
