Hydro Yard Helper/Technician
The Hydro Yard Helper/Technician is responsible for aiding Hydro yard employees with various duties in a safe manner at onshore locations.
Job Location: Houma, La. (Local Listing)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist other employees by performing various duties or tasks in the Hydro Yard
Clean all fittings for piping and structural areas, utilizing bevel band for cutting
Use Hydraulic and pneumatic torquing/impact tools
Rig and bolt flange makeups
Work around heavy equipment
Learn to perform Hydrostatic testing
Maintain clean working areas and practices good housekeeping
Clean and return tools and equipment to proper place after use
Ensure that water coolers are filled as needed
Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent education
1+ years of experience
OQSG CT 37 conducting pressure test/Veriforce CT501 Conducting pressure test or equivalent certification preferred
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills
Ability to utilize various power tools
Must have the ability to perform work accurately
Must be reliable and have good time management skills
For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
