The Role
As a Retail Store Associate, you’ll represent the brand in a boutique-style space connected to our HQ. You’ll work with the Store Manager to deliver a thoughtful, product-driven experience in guiding new and core customers in understanding technical features and materials, finding the right fit, and resonating to what sets Ripton apart. While supporting daily operations, this role will help bring the brand to life through marketing activation support, product launch execution and driving seasonal promos. This is a hands‑on retail role with room to grow.
Core Responsibilities
Deliver a welcoming and informed in‑store experience that reflects the new space
Help all customers with exceptional product knowledge in fit, function, and line selection
Process in‑store purchases, returns, exchanges and warranties
Keep the vibe consistent with the occasional espresso pull and flipping vinyl to B side
Maintain a clean, organized and well‑merchandised shop aligned to brand standards
Seamlessly deliver on delegated projects from the Shop Manager
Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled, sometimes solo
Ensure restock, backstock and inventory procedures function like a fine‑tuned machine
Elevate the Ripton brand during local events and various community engagements
What We're Looking For
1‑2+ years retail experience required, preferably apparel or outdoor apparel
Works well in a tight‑knit team; reliable, organized, flexible yet delivers consistently
Self‑motivated, organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with learning and using various digital tools and software systems
Interest in style, design, and outdoor culture beyond the traditional lenses
Enthusiasm for Ripton's brand and mission
Shopify, inventory handling, event experience is a plus
