Job Description
Logex Transportation LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager
with a strong background in the trucking and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, optimize fleet performance, manage drivers, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day trucking operations, dispatch, and logistics coordination
Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards
Monitor fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel efficiency
Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and ELD/logbook requirementsHandle load planning, route optimization, and cost control
Coordinate with brokers, shippers, and internal departments
Analyze KPIs and implement operational improvements
Requirements
Minimum
3–5 years of experience
in trucking or transportation operations
Strong knowledge of
DOT regulations, HOS, and safety compliance
Experience managing drivers and dispatch teams
Proficiency with TMS systems, ELD platforms, and logistics software
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred
Experience with reefer operations
Strong network within freight brokerage or carrier industry
