Overview
BestDrive is seeking an experienced and strategic National Operations Manager to lead operational excellence across our retail and commercial tire network. This role is responsible for driving performance, standardizing processes, improving profitability, and ensuring consistency across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep operational experience in the tire, automotive, or service industry and a proven ability to lead teams, improve KPIs, and execute business strategy at scale.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple retail and commercial tire locations
Drive consistency in execution of company standards, policies, and operational procedures
Improve store performance through KPI management, labor efficiency, productivity, and profitability initiatives
Partner with Regional Managers and Store Managers to strengthen accountability and operational discipline
Monitor sales performance, service execution, inventory controls, and customer satisfaction metrics
Support staffing strategy, talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching across the field
Ensure compliance with safety programs, HR policies, and company operational standards
Lead process improvement initiatives and support organizational change management efforts
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Safety, Sales, and Executive Leadership to align operational priorities
Identify opportunities for growth, cost control, and improved customer experience across the network
Qualifications
7+ years of multi-location operations leadership experience required
Tire industry, automotive service, fleet service, or related operational leadership experience strongly preferred
Proven experience managing large teams across multiple locations and regions
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor models, and profitability metrics
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
Excellent communication and executive-level presentation abilities
Ability to travel extensively based on business needs
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent operational leadership experience
