Job Summary
Responsible for leading and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety within the hospital. This position involves monitoring and improving quality and safety metrics, conducting assessments, implementing initiatives to enhance overall healthcare quality and guiding and mentoring junior staff.
Essential Functions
Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Promote and cultivate a culture of safety within the hospital.
Develop and implement strategies to engage staff in safety initiatives and reporting.
Monitor and analyze quality metrics, including patient outcomes, readmission rates, and other performance indicators.
Lead performance improvement projects related to patient safety and quality of care.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality reporting requirements.
Analyze and report on quality and safety data regularly.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor\'s Degree Related Field of Study required or Master\'s Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials
RN, PT, OT, SLP license preferred
Experience
Experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field within a healthcare setting 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to lead or mentor staff.
