Job Description
The Instructor/Writer provides senior-level instructional delivery, curriculum development, and subject matter expertise in support of the U.S. Army Cyber School’s Advanced Cyber Operations – Procedures (ACO-P) course. This role delivers learner-centric instruction aligned with USCYBERCOM, TRADOC, NSA, and DoD 8140 training standards while developing and maintaining Government-owned cyberspace operations curriculum.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver resident and mobile classroom instruction for the ACO-P functional course
Develop, update, and maintain Government-owned courseware and assessments
Review and refresh training materials every 60 days
Apply adult learning methodologies and modern instructional techniques
Develop performance-based and criterion-referenced testing instruments
Assess student performance and conduct After-Action Reviews (AARs)
Maintain daily attendance and academic records
Collaborate with Government personnel to align curriculum with approved policies and TTPs
Develop and deconflict 30-week training schedules
Support Mobile Training Team (MTT) surge training events
Maintain classroom security and professional conduct
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
Minimum 3 years conducting cyberspace operations with USCYBERCOM or IC
Minimum 1 year as an instructor or instructor/writer
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
Completion of SCTC and ABIC or FIFC
Required Certifications (one or more)
Advanced Cyber Operations – Procedures (AOC-P)
Desired Technical Skills
Offensive cyber operations and red team tradecraft
