
Manufacturing Engineer

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-volume production environment in Grand Prairie, TX.
This role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed manufacturing work instructions and process plans using Windchill PLM, while driving improvements in efficiency, manufacturability, and process control.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process documentation, machining and assembly operations, and working within a structured manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions for complex processes
Create and manage process plans using Windchill PLM
Improve manufacturing efficiency by:
Reducing cycle time
Enhancing part manufacturability
Supporting statistical process control (SPC) initiatives
Collaborate with inspection teams to define:
Sampling plans
Quality control procedures
Support production by identifying and implementing process improvements
Maintain accurate and compliant process documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
Process plans
Windchill releases (as applicable)
Required Qualifications
6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Strong experience with:
Windchill PLM (required)
Process planning and work instruction development
Experience with:
Manufacturing processes (machining and/or assembly)
Process documentation and standardization
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting Windchill release errors
Experience with:
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Continuous improvement initiatives
Background in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
Pay up to $71.92 per hour DOE
