About the company
MoleSense is an EPFL spinoff developing epidermal microfluidic biosensors to decode sweat and interstitial fluid chemistry in real time. The company brings together scientists and engineers to advance non‑invasive pregnancy monitoring and women’s healthcare through wearable technology.
About the role
As an IC Design Intern, you will contribute to the design of application‑specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for wearable electrochemical biosensors. Your work will focus on ultra‑low‑power IC design, biomedical signal acquisition chains, electrochemical measurement techniques, and ASIC characterization within a startup environment.
Key requirements
EPFL/ETHZ Master’s student or European graduate (≤12 months) in IC design or microelectronics
Experience with ultra‑low‑power ICs and biomedical signal acquisition
Familiarity with electrochemical techniques and Cadence Virtuoso / Calibre
Hands‑on, curious, and motivated to work in healthcare technology
