Hematology/Oncology Physician

Start Date: May 25, 2026 (Orientation: 8 AM 4 PM)

Clinical Dates: May 26 June 6, 2026 (Ongoing)

Rotation: 2 weeks per month (consecutive only)

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Call: Occasional nights and weekends (1:2 rotation); primarily handled via phone with very low call volume.

Setting: 95% Outpatient / 5% Inpatient mix.

Team: 1 Physician and 3 APPs (Collegial and supportive environment).

Patient Load: Average of patients per day.

Clinic Flow: Providers are assigned 3 exam rooms; patients are roomed and assessed by RNs. A triage nurse handles all clinical calls.

Consults: 60-minute New Patient consults; 30-minute Follow-ups.

Technology: ONCO EMR.

Specialized Staff: 13 RNs, 2 Navigators, 2 Pharmacists, 1 Social Worker, 2 Financial Counselors, and a Genetic Counselor onsite.

Clinical Support: Weekly Tumor Board, Tumor Registry (2 CTRs), and a dedicated Research Department.

Accreditations: ACOS CoC, NAPBC, and ACR ROPA.

Rounding: Typically performed by APPs for existing practice patients.

Admissions: Handled by the Hospitalist group; Oncology serves as a consult service only.

Note: 99% outpatient focus; no inductions are performed at this facility.

Licensure: Active State License Required.
